Los estudiantes de este a\u00f1o llegaron con distintos niveles de experiencia en el mundo del chocolate, desde personas que apenas comenzaban su camino en el chocolate artesanal hasta verdaderos expertos en cacao.<\/p><p>Guiado por Obie y Michelle Pressman de Insight Chocolate, el programa inmersivo fue una experiencia de profundo aprendizaje y alegre experimentaci\u00f3n. La oportunidad de participar en la cosecha y el procesamiento del cacao es una vivencia \u00fanica y una forma de desarrollar una comprensi\u00f3n m\u00e1s pr\u00e1ctica y un aprecio m\u00e1s profundo por el cacao. Este a\u00f1o contamos con la participaci\u00f3n de Sarah Barath, agroec\u00f3loga y especialista en cacao, con quien nos adentramos profundamente en la agricultura del cacao y la fermentaci\u00f3n. Sarah lleva m\u00e1s de 25 a\u00f1os trabajando con el cacao y es una fuente inagotable de conocimiento sobre la magia que transforma la semilla de cacao en grano de cacao. Todos los participantes disfrutaron al escucharla y observarla mientras compart\u00eda su experiencia y sabidur\u00eda. Con la ayuda de Sarah, los procesos agr\u00edcolas y de fermentaci\u00f3n del cacao de Macaw Lodge se ver\u00e1n transformados.<\/p><p>Tuvimos el placer de recibir noticias de varios estudiantes una vez de regreso en casa, y nos encant\u00f3 saber cu\u00e1nto disfrutaron compartir su chocolate con amigos y familiares durante la Semana Santa. La conexi\u00f3n que sentimos con cada persona que forma parte de nuestros talleres de chocolate es, para nosotros, el coraz\u00f3n del cacao.
