Macaw Lodge supports education in Costa Rica’s Central Pacific
We are delighted to share that, through our foundation and in partnership with the Center for Biodiversity Restoration (CBR), we donated 24 refurbished Chrome computers to the school of Las Delicias in Turrubares.
This marks the beginning of a larger project: CBR aims to donate 500 refurbished computers to schools across the Central Pacific region, strengthening education and providing more opportunities for children and youth.
In addition, we continue supporting the extracurricular educational program with the book “Scarlet Macaws: Our Natural History and Conservation”. For years, this book has been a key resource in schools, teaching about the conservation of the scarlet macaw—an iconic bird that was once endangered and now soars again across the Central Pacific biological corridor.
At Macaw Lodge we believe that education and conservation go hand in hand, and each step brings us closer to a more sustainable future.
